This policy explains what personal information Solaris Insurance LLC ("Solaris", "we", "us") collects through this website and our chat, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. This website is meant for adults in Florida who want help with life insurance.

What you tell us in the chat

When you use the chat, we collect what you type, such as your name, phone number, email address and questions about insurance. You may also choose to share details about your health, such as whether you smoke or have a medical condition. Please only share what you are comfortable with. A licensed agent will ask for what is needed for a quote.

Chat records

Your chat messages are saved by us and by our chat provider so we can reply and follow up with you.

Information about your visit

Our hosting provider records technical details when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Unless you turn ad tracking off (see below), Google Ads and the Meta Pixel also collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device, your IP address and cookie identifiers.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and help you find a life insurance policy.
  • To prepare quotes and compare options from insurance companies.
  • To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request.
  • To keep the records we must keep as a licensed insurance business.
  • To keep this website working and protect it from misuse.
  • To measure and improve our advertising on Google and Meta.

Our chat assistant

Our chat may be answered first by an automated assistant. It uses what you type to answer simple questions and to pass your request to our team. Decisions about whether you can get coverage, and at what price, are made by the insurance company, not by our chat assistant.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run parts of our business for us: HighLevel (chat, customer records and text messages), Netlify (website hosting), and Google and Meta (advertising and measurement).
  • Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not send your information to insurance companies to get you a quote. If you decide to apply for a policy, you complete an application with the insurance company you choose.

We do not sell your personal information. Google and Meta use the information they collect under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.

Text messages and calls

If you give us permission, we may call you or send you text messages, including automated ones, about your insurance request. Giving permission is not required to buy anything. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your text message consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Ad tracking choices

We use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to see which ads bring visitors to our website and to show our ads to people who visited us. You can turn this off for this browser with the button below. Your choice is saved in this browser only. If you clear your browser data or use another device or browser, you will need to choose again. Turning it off stops new tracking on our website. It does not delete information Google or Meta already have.

We also respect the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, ad tracking stays off for you automatically.

You can also manage ads in your Google ad settings and your Meta ad preferences.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to help you with your request and to meet our legal and record-keeping duties as a licensed insurance business. After that, we delete it. Our hosting provider, Google and Meta keep the information they collect according to their own rules.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as using service providers with security safeguards and limiting access to the people who need it. No website or system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as Florida law requires.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop calling you or sending you text messages.

Children

This website is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Where your information is kept

We are based in Florida. Our service providers listed above may store your information in the United States or in other countries. This website is meant for Florida residents.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Please also read our Terms of Use.
